MotoGP 车手站台 泰国雅马哈展示全新的 MT-15

其中的一项活动，就是出席泰国 Yamaha 即将推出市场的全新车型 MT-15 发布会。
Yamaha 官方未公布 MT-15 的具体细节，仅从外面观察、新车采用了一个与 MT-09 相似的车头造型。而参考泰国当地媒体的报道，新的 MT-15 将采用新一代入门跑车 YZF-R15 的平台延伸而来，搭载 VVA 可变汽阀的、最大动力输出为 14.2 kw 的 155 cc 发动机，将是取代现有 M-Slaz 高性能街车的后续产品。而新的 MT-15 推出之后，Yamaha 在当地以至是整个东南亚市场、将形成了完整的 MT 高性能街车系列产品线：单汽缸发动机的 MT-15、直列两汽缸的 MT-07、直列三汽缸的 MT-09，以及旗舰级、搭载直列四汽缸发动机的 MT-10。
虽然厂方尚未公布这款全新的 MT-15 在当地市场的定价，但参考新一代搭载 VVA 发动机的 YZF-R15 在当地市场 9.7 万泰铢（最低配置版本，折合人民币约为 2.04 万元）的官方定价，我们估计新的 MT-15 的定价大概是在 9.2 万到 9.4 万泰铢左右，参考最新的汇率行情，折合人民币约为 1.94 万元到 1.98 万元。

东南亚、尤其是泰国和印尼市场，高性能街车之间的竞争可谓越来越激烈。以泰国市场为例，在去年 Honda 推出了新的、官方定价 9.98 万泰铢的 CB150R，Suzuki 推出了官方定价 8.1 万泰铢的 GSX-S150 之后，现在 Yamaha 又更新到了 MT-15，未来也不排除 Kawasaki 推出新的全尺寸 Z150 加入到竞争中去。对于正在大力开拓东南亚市场的中国企业来说，激烈竞争之下、如何扬长避短，是一个事关重大的课题。
